Since hitting the DJing scene in early 2009, Brett Austin has been on the fast track to becoming one of Sydney’s rising stars.
His first major gig was the 2009 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras After Party after winning the Mardi Gras DJ Spin Off competition. Since then, many doors have opened and paved the way for him to quickly establish himself as one of Sydney’s in demand DJs.
In his short time, Brett has already been play-billed and played along side industry greats such as Yinon Yahel, The Freemasons, Wayne G, Jon Sa Trinxa, and Jonathan Ulysses.
Brett is becoming known for his versatility and ability to play a broad range of high energy vocal house, from Soulful Funky beats, to dirty progressive, and circuit anthems.
Along with his great mate Murray Hood, they came together in late 2009 to form the Oxford Hustlers, with their first single due out in early 2010. They are also now a hot sort after remixing outfit, both locally and overseas, and have sparked a lot of interest so early in their production careers.
