Russian-born based in Sydney, Australia and with a shoe planted on either side of the barbed-wire fence of contemporary pop culture, Sveta has staked out the unique crossover point between underground and overground, fame and infamy, cash and credibility.

Sveta’s achievements are as diverse as her music tastes. She has extensive experience in world of high fashion as the Music Director for top Australian Houte Couture Fashion designer Alex Perry for over six years, Australia’s Next Top Model, as well as Fashion houses Zimmermann, Birthday Suit, Arrabella Ramsey, Flamingo Sands, Bonds,  and Collette Dinnigan her work spanning Fashion Weeks in Paris, Sydney and Melbourne. In 2011 Sveta added two VOGUE runway shows to her list.

As a club DJ she has played alongside all the legends including Boy George, L.A Riots, The Bloody Beetroots, Les Petits Pilous, Autoerotique, Ladyhawke, Kap Bambino, Le Castle Vania, Larry Tee, Fagget Fairys, Bart B More, Junior Vasquez, John Digweed, Deep Dish, Frankie Knuckles, Tony Moran, JD Sampson (Le Tigre/MEN), Victor Calderone, Johnny Dynell, Princess Superstar & many more.

Sveta toured Australia with Peaches in Jan 2010 and with Shunda K (Yo Majesty!) playing live beats & mash-ups in Dec/Jan 2010. She has played Future Music Festival, supported TOMMY LEE (Motley Crue), DJed for the MTV Awards, Good Vibrations, Big Day Out & is widely known for her numerous headline sets at Sydney’s famous Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras party – the largest dance party in the Southern hemisphere.

Beyond her skills in programming, Club DJing and music direction, Sveta recently ventured back into the world of production producing remixes for the Scissor Sisters, Amanda Palmer (with Peaches), and with a new remix of Fast Chick by New York’s ErikaToure Aviance, which has just been released on ITunes & Juno.

Sveta's New York profile exploded in June 2006 following her headline set at Mr Black as the Gay Pride international guest DJ along side DJ Sammy Jo; tour DJ to the Scissor Sisters. In October 2006, Sveta took up the invitation to return to Mr Black as resident DJ, turning out the decks for DJ Sammy Jo during his tour with the Scissor Sisters. New York turned out Sveta in return, and filled her dance card with guest DJ spots at The (infamous) Cock, China White, Hiro, The David Barton Gym, Snapshot & The Bubble Lounge. Sveta has been flown back to special guest at Gay Pride every year from 2006 to now. Finding time in between Sveta has maintained her position as raining Queen of her domain in Australia and added return trips to her native Europe, playing gigs from Italy to Demark and everything in between. Sveta has just returned from a three-week tour of NYC where she received to well-earned praise and accolades from the likes of TimeOut New York who featured her in their prestigious ‘Critics Picks’.

Earning her stripes across two decades and armed with her skill, tattooed alabaster skin and exotic European glamour, Sveta is amongst the few underground DJs that have crossed-over to a diverse audience of straight, gay, young, old, queer and fetish audiences alike. She'll grab hold of a dance-floor and take it to the edge with a spellbinding mix of music that will leave the collective audience absolutely breathless.
