BOOKINGS: Ken Hutchins

“Anikiko can fuse words and melody with that magical ease desired by many, but given to few. Her songs elude easy genre categories, ranging in style from Billie Holiday to Bjork – with a tantilising note of otherness from the singer’s Czech heritage. Anikiko’s voice has the smokiness of a jazz singe’s but she can also unfurl a purity of tine to woo the cherubium, as she does on a lullaby, Andelicku. Stunning.” F. Merson, Limelight Magazine January 2011.

This unique and quirky musician brings her entire being to the stage with every show. Always the performer, AniKiko teasingly plays with the audience, inviting them to experience and share in every moment. Her presence, her words and melodies paint pictures you can actually see, touch and smell. Her genre-bending style leaves no stone unturned a she takes listeners on their own journey.

The release of her first music clip for “Like No Other” – a song is dedicated to her father, Jiri Neradilek who inspires and influences much of AniKiko’s music, and who performs all her trumpeting, is sure to be a highlight on launch night. Created by cinematographer Matthew Horrex and Danalee Mierowsky and produced by Antinutt Productions, the clip is already causing industry professionals to double take.
