Second Release SOLD OUT!
Final Release on sale now.

Sunday January 29th is going to be one heck of a way to end the Australia Day long weekend, and with second release tickets about to run out, Ivy is set to be packed to the rafters! If you have been living under a rock for the last few months, here's the scoop.

Everyone is gathering around the office water coolers, talking with excitement about the long awaited return of the kings of disco and dance, the Freemasons (UK). Accompanying these veterans of vocal house anthems is an entourage of artists who are set to burrrn the house down, including the simply exquisite talents of not one but TWO star vocalists – Katherine Ellis (UK) and Sian Evans (Kosheen - UK).

We have also included a plethora of Sydney's most highly respected DJs to help get your groove warmed up for this epic reunion, over TWO rooms that are set to be packed with nothing but good vibes, great drinks and amazing tunes!

Main stage in the open-air, Ivy Main Bar:
Freemasons with Sian Evans and Katherine Ellis,
Tom Kelly, Alex Taylor, Oxford Hustlers

Bangin' house cocktail bar, The Den:
Brendan Terry, Adam Cox and Troy Cox

BUT, we have more exciting news for you. Gusto International have been busy working with the team at Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras to help make Sydney Mardi Gras 2012 an absolutely massive year.

We are proud to announce that $5 will be donated from each ticket purchased at Moshtix, inthedark.com.au and Bang Clothing towards the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. So be sure to help raise funds for Sydney Mardi Gras by purchasing your ticket for the Freemasons show, before they sell out!

If you cant get enough of Katherine Ellis, then check her out in a more intimate setting at one of Sydney's most highly respected venues for displays of musical genius – The basement. This is a once off show, with Mr Doris (Ibiza), and supported by Shane SOS (Syd / Ibiza) and Peter Glass.

Katherine Ellis's extensive credentials include touring with Roger Sanchez, four chart hits with the Ruff Drivers, and work with Dave Lee under his Raven Maize guise. In 2008 she released her collaboration with Grammy winning production duo, The Freemasons: a track she wrote called When You Touch Me. Her vocals have also graced more underground anthems such as Shiver by Lee Coombs, Salty by Dylan Rhymes, and the big club hit, Insatiable, by Mark Knight.

MR DORIS

Receiving praise from a perse range of musical maestros such as Carl Cox, Mayer Hawthorne, Dimitri from Paris and Carl Craig – Mr Doris helps to represent a new wave of musical expansion in Ibiza with residencies in globally recognised clubs such as Space and Pacha.

Whilst simultaneously holding a residency for London based “Soundcrash” and touring internationally, Mr Doris is also just as busy in the studio, producing a range of music from downtempo hip hop, the upbeat stylings of house and drum and bass. 2011 has seen Mr Doris release highly appraised fresh material and mix compilations for the likes of Defected and El Chiringuito.

SHANE SOS

Originally recognised as an aficionado of the beach sound, Shane SOS has received international recognition as a premier DJ. Originally moving to Sydney from the beaches of Noosa in 2000, Shane his since discovered his more Balearic dance side, travelling the world to places such as Ibiza, Morocco, Bali and Italy to play for packed dance floors. Shane has been featured as a guest DJ on the UK’s BBC Radio 1 and recorded a live set for the infamous radio station, he has also played guest slots for Ministry of Sound London and Ibiza Sonica in 2008 as well as private gigs for international rock acts: U2, PEARL JAM, LYRICS BORN and REM. Shane is also in his 7th year of hosting the infamous weekly radio show “Blissbomb” on Bondi FM.

To whom it may concern:

On behalf of your employee, we have written this certificate to inform you that Ashley will not be coming into work today.

We wish to advise you, as Ashley's certified doctors of disco, that your employee has been diagnosed with having an acute exposure to a large amount of fun. This is a direct result of the Freemasons @ Ivy party. Unfortunately, Ashley was unaware of this dangerously high exposure to good times until early monday morning, at which point he came straight to us for a diagnosis and prescription.

On further inspection of the patient, as well as the exchange of small incentives ($20), we have grave concerns for your employee's wellbeing, and as a result, a sickie will have to be chucked.

This will also include an appointment with us at 12am, at the Midnight Shift, as well as physicals with doctors (and experts in the field of severe exposure to a f*cking good time) Sveta and Tom Pritchard.

Symptoms demonstrated by your employee include, but are not exclusive to, sweating, impaired or slurred speech with episodes of verbal diarrhoea, shortened attention to anything important, a decrease in standards, as well as a severe increase in the risk of being a total idiot, which may result in an infection of Mondayitis.

At this point we have prescribed some medication, and have instructed your employee to give this official certificate to you after partying with us. Of course, a night such as this usually requires plenty of rest afterward, as well as some time to cry and find out exactly what happened.

We expect Ashley to be back at work Tuesday morning. If you have any concerns, please call us on 1900 F*CK IT.
